Maltese, also known as toy dogs for their incredible and cute small size, are Spitz family dogs having their roots in south central Europe. They tend to suffer from a lot of physical ailments like skin problems, breathing problems, like asthma, even developing allergies to certain foods as well. Because of these, Maltese need to be kept in continuous care and monitoring so that they do not fall severely sick. Apart from these, Maltese also need to have their vaccination done which costs around 1,200 INR to 2,000 INR. Add deworming medicine expenses that go up the highest to 1,000 INR. 

Overall, your monthly vet expenses are expected to be around 3,000 INR to 4,000 INR.

GROOMING AND MAINTENANCE
